Summer Festivals ( 06/10/2008)
The summer Festival season is over again for Taylored sound.
It all started with a superb weekend featuring the Shetland Folk
Festival and Yelows on the Broom on the first weekend in May.
For the Shetland trip Jimi Troup Nick Taylor and Lisa Smith
boarded the Ferry from Aberdeen to Lerwick along with the Pa
and several surfboards. The Venue was the Clickimin centre and
on the boat tales were told of the poor acoustics that the sports
hall had by some festival veterans. This had been anticipated
but fear was avoided with the cargo on board. 10 resolution
Res 5’s and 10 Res 4d’s along with 10 F218’s made up the FOH
system, all controlled with a Heritage 1000 and XTA Processing.
The System performed effortlessly and kept the acoustical
energy focused off the building and onto the audience.

Yellows on the Broom was experienced for the fist time by Aarron Gregg, Colin (Badger) Wylie and Ryan Beattie. For this years event 2 AX88’s were flown and 4 F218’s were hidden under the stage.

After this great start to the summer we heard everything from the
teachings of the 5 day Christian organized Imagine Festival to
the Electronic music of the Glade Festival.

During August a Resolution 5 system was used for;
Belladrum festival Hothouse Stage.

Wizard Festival Main Stage.

Feugh Festival Main Stage

The summer finished off with a Red Bull Beach Party.

Snow is hopefully now on the way so we have returned back indoors
until the Hogmany celebrations begin.
